Copperbanded Butteryfly (Chelmon rostratus)

Product Description
Origin: Northeastern Indian Ocean and the West Pacific; Andaman Sea to the Ryukyu Islands, Southeast Asia to the Great Barrier Reef, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
20 cm ( 7.8 in.)
Well established live rock needed. In nature, eats crustateans and other bethnic invertabrates. May accept meaty foods, but can be difficult to feed. Generally reef safe, but may pick at corals, colonial anemones, and worms.
One of the unpredictable butterfly fishes, very handsome and hardy in some instance, but often prone to starving for lack of live food. Sometimes introduced as a predator on small nuisance anemones such as mojano, aiptasia and other glass anemones. This is actually a hit or miss on that subject.
Minimum Tank Length/Size:
A minimum 75 gallon or larger.
