The average size of most Cardinalfish in captivity is two inches. These fish make great additions to a peaceful reef aquarium, adapting well to life in captivity. Extensive rockwork and corals should be provided to enable the fish to retreat from other tankmates. They do well on a variety of meaty foods, such as brine shrimp and mysid shrimp.
