Needs plenty of places to hide. PVC pipe may help. Known to jump from open top tanks.

Maximum Size: the Rhinomuraena quaesita grows up to 45 inches.

Minimum Tank Size: The Blue Ribbon Eel prefers a tank of at least 60 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.

Diet: The Rhinomuraena quaesita is a carnivore and likes to eat Prefers live feeder shrimp, can be coaxed to eat frozen foods with time and patience.

Level of Care: The Blue Ribbon Eel is a high maintenance fish.

Behavior: The Blue Ribbon Eel may act aggressively toward other fish.

Hardiness: This is not a hardy fish.

Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78 F).
